A new company, called Norwegian Air Norway, has applied for permanent Irish air operator’s certificate for its long-haul division this summer. The carrier currently has a Norwegian CAA-issued operation license and air operator’s certificate (AOC) and plans to apply for an EU-AOC, which will result in more aircraft being registered in an EU country rather than Norway.
