Norse Atlantic Airways opens new route between Athens and JFK

Norse Atlantic Airways will operate new routes connecting Athens, Greece to New York JFK. The flights will operate five times a week from May 30 to October 26, 2024.

“We believe this route will not only cater to the demand for travel to Greece but will also create opportunities for cultural exchange and business collaborations between these two vibrant destinations,” said Norse Atlantic Airways founder and CEO Bjorn Tore Larsen.

“The US has traditionally been the most dynamically developing market for Athens and especially in 2023, passenger numbers between ATH and all US destinations have been soaring, demonstrating double digit increases vs the pre-pandemic era, with New York topping the list,” said Athens International Airport director, communications and marketing Ioanna Papadopoulou. “We are absolutely certain that the route will be a tremendous success, as passengers will enjoy the excellent product offered by Norse Atlantic Airways.”
