LOT has extended the code-share contract with Japanese airline ANA. As a result, as of 1 December LOT's passengers can fly, with a layover in Tokyo, to three additional cities in Japan: Sapporo, Sendai, and Fukuoka.
LOT Polish Airlines and All Nippon Airways decided to extend their commercial co-operation with three additional cities in Japan. This means that apart from the capital of Japan, LOT's passengers travelling from any city in Europe can travel directly from Warsaw to Tokyo to reach major Japanese business centres as well. Flights within the area of Tokyo will be conducted by ANA.
"We and our partner, Star Alliance, are happy to extend the amount of available directions for our passengers. At present, LOT's connection to the capital of Japan, i.e. Tokyo, is the most convenient one among many cities in Europe. However, we know that a number of passengers need to fly to further destinations in Japan. As of today, you can reach Sapporo, Sendai, and Fukuoka using just one ticket of LOT Polish Airlines," says Adrian Kubicki, LOT’s Corporate Communications Director.
