New aircraft joins GetJet Airlines fleet

GetJet Airlines has expanded its fleet with the addition of an Airbus A320.

The contract was signed with AerCap in August 2017, and the aircraft was delivered on 20th March 2018.

“GetJet Airlines is very happy to have signed its first contract with AerCap – it is a strong and reliable partner and we see this as the beginning of a long and fruitful collaboration. GetJet has been growing steadily for the last couple of years and so adding the new Airbus A320 to our fleet is simply part of our long-term modernization and expansion strategy,” says Darius Viltrakis, CEO of GetJet Airlines.

The Airbus A320, Lithuanian registration marks LY-FOX, with a configuration of 180 seats, will operate flights on ACMI wet lease and air charter contracts across Europe.

AerCap President and Chief Commercial Officer Philip Scruggs said, “We welcome our new customer airline, GetJet Airlines. We are pleased to support the management team with their ambitious fleet modernization plan and we wish them every success.”
