GE Aerospace and National Airlines have signed an engine sales agreement for eight GE90-110B engines to power four Boeing-777F cargo airplanes on July 22, 2024.
“We’re honoured our GE90 engines will power National Airline’s new 777F airplanes and be a key part of their growth plans. The GE90 and 777F are a winning combination in cargo operations,” said Russell Stokes, president and CEO, commercial engines and services, GE Aerospace.
The GE90 engine family powers all Boeing 777 models and is the exclusive powerplant on the 777-300ER, -200LR, and Freighter aircraft.
National Airlines Chairman Chris Alf added, “As we expand our fleet to meet growing cargo demands, our order for more GE90-powered 777 Freighters demonstrates our continued confidence in the aircraft-engine combination.”
