MUFG has closed a 12-year finance lease transaction with IndiGo for two A321neo aircraft, for the value of $106 million.
The bank served as the mandated lead arranger, senior lender, facility agent, and security trustee for the transaction.
“We are pleased to partner with IndiGo on this landmark financing," said June Raj, MUFG’s head of aviation finance, Asia Pacific. "The transaction reaffirms India’s growing significance for our regional franchise.”
This deal also represents MUFG’s first direct financing with IndiGo.
