Dublin-based lessor Milestone Aviation is to dispatch two Sikorsky S-92 helicopters across the Irish Sea to Offshore Helicopter Services UK Limited.
The companies have signed agreements for "the placement of two additional S-92s which are scheduled to deliver in 2023", as well as for the extension of leases on three S-92 in the OHS fleet.
“We are pleased to continue building our relationship with OHS, having worked closely together for many years,” said Pat Sheedy, Milestone's chief executive of Milestone, which is part of aircraft leasing company AerCap.
OHS, which is owned by Ultimate Aviation, flies the choppers on oil and gas operations in the North Sea.
“It gives us great satisfaction to be able to support them and their new parent company, Ultimate Aviation, as they expand their offshore fleet, and we congratulate them on their new partnership," Sheedy added.
