Maverick Horizon has acquired three A320 aircraft previously operated by ITA Airways, the company said on April 1, 2025.
The acquisition is part of its closed acquisition deal with FTAI Aviation. The aircraft bear the MSNs 1473, 1480, and 1489.
“This is a valuable addition to our growing portfolio and marks yet another smooth and professional collaboration with the fantastic team at FTAI Aviation,” the company read in a statement.
The aircraft will be placed on lease with “various airlines” and are expected to resume operations in the 2025 season.
Electra Airways parent Vector Group deputy CEO Matvey Koloturskiy confirmed to Airline Economics that Electra would receive one aircraft.
Arkia Israeli Airlines VP fleet planning Ariel Maor also confirmed to Airline Economics that Arkia will receive one aircraft on lease and will purchase another one from Maverick Horizon.
Maor said the aircraft were “valuable additions” to Arkia's fleet. Maverick added that it was “proud to support” the airline's growth.
