Novus Aviation Capital has appointed Matthew Leigh as head of legal and compliance.
In this role, Leigh will lead Novus’s global legal and compliance function, overseeing governance and transactional execution in support of the company’s growth strategy.
He will be based in Dubai and will work closely with Novus’s leadership to further embed best‑practice legal frameworks, compliance and execution standards across the platform.
In a statement, Novus said that Leigh brings extensive experience to the role from areas including aviation finance, corporate law, and regulatory compliance, with a track record of partnering with commercial teams to enable disciplined expansion.
“Having advised across the aviation finance and leasing market for over 20 years, I am looking forward to working closely with the team to further strengthen Novus's reputation for delivering innovative solutions to support its partners,” said Leigh.
