Malaysia Airlines has stated that traffic has improved four months after the still-unresolved disappearance of MH370, but the airline’s CEO has called for a radical restructuring plan to go ahead.
MAS CEO Ahmad Jauhari Yahya stated that the airline began to improve its marketing campaign in June and is seeing a "significant recovery" in business; however the airline's long-term survival still depends on restructuring.
Chairman Mohamad Nor Yusof said the airline is still "grappling with confidence and reputation" after MH370, but ruled out the possibility of bankruptcy.
