Marjan Riggi departs KBRA

After 11 years, Marjan Riggi has recently left KBRA, where she served as the global head of aviation and transportation ratings. She is exploring new opportunities by initially setting up her own advisory business.

In her new role at Stage Wing Advisory, she will consult on various aspects of aviation finance, including structuring of debt backed by aviation and other transportation assets including asset-backed securitisations (ABS), enhanced equipment trust certificates (EETCs) and other private and public secured aviation debt. She will also focus on investor engagement as well as structuring advice to private credit shops including aviation lending platforms which have gained much momentum in the past few years.

"I am excited about my new venture given it gives me the opportunity to utilise all I have learned through years of analysing structured and corporate securities-especially for the ever-changing aviation market- in a more commercial setting," says Riggi.

Before KBRA, Marjan was a senior credit officer at Moody's where she spent 17 years covering ABS and RMBS as well as corporate and FI ratings. She began her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY as a bank analyst.
