Maldivian Airlines has launched a new seasonal service connecting Shenzhen and Malé, via Bangkok.
The airline stated that this new route, operated by its A320 aircraft, aims to deepen its presence in the Chinese market, responding to growing travel demand between the two countries.
The addition of Shenzhen complements Maldivian’s existing network in China, which includes non-stop weekly services to Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu using the airline’s Airbus 330-200 wide-body aircraft.
The seasonal Shenzhen service is expected to strengthen tourism ties, increase visitor arrivals from southern China, and support national efforts to diversify and grow inbound markets.
