Malaysia's Eaglexpress Air has signed a component support contract with AFI KLM E&MT during the Singapore Airshow, which includes access to AFI KLM E&M's global A330 spares pool and a main base kit to be located at Jeddah. The support contract covers the six aircraft recently acquired by Eaglexpress Air. Under the terms of the agreement, Eaglexpress Air will benefit from AFI KLM E&M's logistic centres in Dubai and Singapore.
"We were won over by AFI KLM E&M's solid reputation in Asia Pacific on the A330 market, the company's regional and global presence, and the solutions it offers," said Captain Azlan Zainal Abidin, CEO Eaglexpress Air.
AFI KLM E&M SVP Commercial, Fabrice Defrance confirmed that "We are signing the start of a mutually beneficial cooperation. We are delighted at the idea of exploring the opportunities presenting themselves to our two companies.
