Lufthansa Technik and Cebu Pacific have extended their partnership, which will see Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen (LTS) providing airframe related components services for the airlines A320ceo and A321ceo aircraft.
The agreement - signed this Wednesday at MRO Asia-Pacific - specifically covers maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), and spare unit support for engine nacelle components including inlet and fan cowling, thrust reverser, and nozzle.
"The contract signed today at MRO Asia-Pacific in Singapore is a strong testament to Cebu Pacific's long-standing collaboration with Lufthansa Technik, and it reflects our complete confidence in their expertise,” said Shevantha Weerasekera, Cebu Pacific's vice president of engineering and fleet management.
Weerasekera continued: “Cebu Pacific is committed to providing our passengers with safe, accessible, and affordable air travel, and our continuous partnership with Lufthansa Technik allows us to fulfil this objective," said Shevantha Weerasekera, Cebu Pacific's Vice President of Engineering and Fleet Management.
Cebu Pacific and Lufthansa Technik already cooperate closely across a range of areas, with the MRO provider having performed engine maintenance services for the CFM56-5B engines that power the A320ceo and A321ceo fleets of the Manila-based airline.
Dennis Kohr, senior vice president corporate sales Asia-Pacific at Lufthansa Technik, said: "A big thanks goes out to Cebu Pacific for choosing us - once again - as their trusted partner. Our valued customer will benefit from our global MRO operations with a strong local footprint in Asia-Pacific. We are committed to continue delivering exceptional support and look forward to expanding our already strong partnership with Cebu Pacific through this new agreement.
