Lufthansa is to launch a Munich-Bangalore route as well as resume flights from the Bavarian regional capital to Los Angeles.
The German airline said it will also increase capacity on its route from Munich to Bangkok.
The carrier is to deploy the Airbus A380 on both routes, with the LAX link restarting in October 5 and the A380 flights to the Thai capital to restart near the end of the month.
Lufthansa said the use of the A380 to Thailand means a near-75% seat capacity increase compared to the A350, the aircraft being used on the route until late October.
The new flight to Bangalore is to be serviced by an A350, Lufthansa said, adding that it will revive the Munich-Hyderabad route.
