Lufthansa Group and Airbus have entered an agreement to make business travel more sustainable.
Since June 1, 2025, Airbus has started to use Lufthansa Group’s new “sustainable corporate value fare” for all employee flights within Germany.
The fare lets companies offset up to 30% of the CO₂ emissions from their flights by supporting the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in future Lufthansa flights.
Dieter Vranckx, chief commercial officer of the Lufthansa Group, said: "For many companies and its employees, sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor in travel decisions. As a leading airline group, we are the partner of choice for companies in achieving their goals with tailor-made solutions.”
Airbus said that it has worked closely with the airline group since early 2024 to create an offer that “fits the needs” of its employees.
