The Lufthansa Group has extended the suspension of flights to the parts of the Middle East, due to ongoing conflicts in the region.
The airline group, which consists of Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings outlined the updated guidance to customers on its website.
Flights to and from Tel Aviv and Tehran are now suspended until January 31, 2025, while services to and from Beirut will remain halted until February 28, 2025.
“The Lufthansa Group continues to monitor the situation closely and will assess it further in the coming days, The safety of our passengers and crews is always our top priority,” the company said in a statement.
