Lufthansa Cargo has commenced a new transpacific service from Ho Chi Minh City to Los Angeles.
The service began on October 27, 2024, with the first flight being operated by its JV subsidiary AeroLogic.
“This new freighter connection highlights our commitment to connecting economies by responding to the demand of the rapidly growing economy in Vietnam, which can now be seamlessly connected to the U.S. even faster,” said Ashwin Bhat, CEO of Lufthansa Cargo.
Bhat added: “This service reinforces our purpose of enabling global business, which is why we are continuously examining the possibilities of establishing new routes and growing in dynamic market environments.”
Lufthansa Cargo is now offering customers 89 weekly 777F freighter connections worldwide, including 50 frequencies within Aisa to 17 different destinations. This is due to a strong demand in the region.
