LOT Polish Airlines is to discontinue its only intercontinental service from Hungary, ending its Budapest to Seoul service on March 26, 2025.

Along with the termination of this route, Polish aviation news portal Rynek Lotniczy has reported that LOT has also decided to extend the suspension of flights between Warsaw and Beijing while consolidating its connections to Seoul from Warsaw Chopin and Wroclaw.

The news outlet also reported that the flag-carrier is said to be shifting a focus to bolstering capacity in North America, increasing frequencies to cities like Chicago.

In addition to changes to the airline's long-haul network, LOT has expanded its European network, introducing a new service to Lisbon from February 3, 2025. The route will operate five times weekly, increasing to a daily service on February 24, 2025. Flights between Warsaw and Lisbon will be operated by the airline’s 737 MAX 8.
