Loganair appoints new director of fleet
Scottish carrier Loganair has appointed Sylvian Gloux to the role of director of fleet. “This is another fantastic appointment for Loganair and we are delighted to be able to attract someone so well qualified and equipped into this highly specialist role. Sylvain will be a very valuable addition to the team,” said Luke Farajallah, Loganair CEO. In this is a newly created role at the airline – Gloux will sit on the executive committee – based at the airlines head office in Glasgow. Gloux brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic fleet planning, aircraft trading, leasing, and financing to the airline. He also helped in the strategic and financial restructuring of UK regional airline Flybe and Cargologic Management. Commenting on his appointment, Gloux added: “I am excited to join Loganair‘s distinguished team and to contribute to the essential role the airline plays to connect Scotland’s communities, especially at such a pivotal time for regional aviation.” He will undertake the new role from September 2, 2024.
