LATAM to increase cargo frequencies between Europe and South America
LATAM Cargo Group is set to increase frequencies between Europe and South America. The Chilean operator will add two weekly frequencies between the two continents – increasing from 10 to 12 services per week. In total, LATAM will transport more than 1,700 tonnes of cargo on both its passenger and cargo aircraft, distributed among eight points in South America and ten in Europe. ""Our focus is on providing our customers with increased and improved connectivity,"" said Matías Cortina, VP commercial for Europe at LATAM Cargo Group. ""With this new growth, we will offer 140% more capacity to and from Europe and double the cargo destinations in South America compared to 2019."" The increased frequencies will be operated by the company’s 767-300F aircraft.
