Knighthood Global to take stake in UK start-up Global Airlines

UK-based start-up carrier Global Airlines has appointed Knighthood Global as “strategic advisors”, to support the next stages of its development towards being an operational carrier.

Knighthood, a consultancy and investment firm led by former Etihad Aviation Group chief James Hogan, will also become a shareholder in the company, focusing on strategy for the next chapters of building the airline, while progressing its UK air operator certificate (AOC) application.

Global Airlines' first scheduled service is set to depart from Glasgow to New York on May 15, 2025., with Global intending to introduce further widebody aircraft in 2025 before announcing a timeline for scheduled operations.
