KLM intends to expand its network in the Caribbean when the winter schedule is launched on October 30, 2011.
The airline will fly to Curacao nine times a week, daily to Bonaire, five times a week to Aruba and to three times a week to St Maarten.
Chief executive officer Peter Hartman said: “For the first time in our history, KLM will make more than half a million seats available to the Caribbean, annually. By performing this strong capacity expansion, KLM is offering … holidaymakers many more travel possibilities.”
KLM is also planning to fly direct from Amsterdam to Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador from winter this year.
