KLM announces summer schedule

Dutch airline KLM will fly to 165 destinations during summer 2023, it announced on March 22. It said 96 of the destinations will be European and 69 "intercontinental", with flights to Asia doubling year-on-year.

In Europe, Nantes will get three KLM flights a day during summer 2023, with one flight a day to Rennes.

There will be 16 Asian destinations, including daily flights to Beijing and Shanghai, two flights a week to Taipei and Osaka/Incheon. Tokyo will get five direct flights a week, starting in November.

In North America, 18 destinations will see KLM flights touch down during summer, including New York, Atlanta, Austin, Washington, Las Vegas, Edmonton, Montreal and Vancouver. Further south, KLM will operate a daily service to Curaçao and to the islands of Aruba and Bonaire, as well Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and Panama City (Panama).

Back across the Atlantic Ocean, passengers will be able to 10 African destinations, including daily flights to Nairobi, said KLM, which did not say in its statement what airport or airports would be the starting point or points for the destinations listed, though it operates many flights out of Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport.
