Kenya Airways has increased its fuel surcharge by Sh1, 241 ($15) per sector, two weeks ago. The airline charges Sh57.4 ($0.70) per kilogram of general cargo and Sh49.2 ($0.6) per kilogram of perishable cargo on all routes other than domestic.
Jetlink has followed suit raising its surcharge to Sh410 ($5) per sector following an increase in the price of jet fuel.
Astral Aviation will increase its charge by Sh4 ($0.05) to Sh24.6 ($0.3) per kilogram on April 1.
