Kenya Airways and Air Tanzania have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening strategic cooperation and improving regional and international connectivity.
Under the MoU, the airlines will share resources and internal capabilities to enhance operational efficiencies.
Key areas of collaboration include human resource training, aircraft maintenance, engineering, technical cooperation, cargo operations, maintenance and repair operations (MRO), safety, and innovation.
The deal prioritises joint initiatives over competition, with the goal of fostering sustainable growth in East Africa’s aviation sector.
