Kazakhstan's FlyArystan launches first domestic flights

Kazakhstan-based airline FlyArystan has launched its first domestic flight from Almaty to Nur-Sultan operating comfortable Airbus A320 aircraft.

On the same day, the second commercial flight from Almaty to Taraz took place. On the first day of its operations, the airline has said it carried a total of 720 passengers.

President and chief executive officer at Air Astana Peter Foster said: “FlyArystan, which follows the classic model of budget airlines appears right on time. We expect a significant increase in passenger traffic on both domestic and international routes of Kazakhstan as we plan to be based in other countries as well. In the meantime, we are ready to provide affordable flights throughout Kazakhstan and we hope that FlyArystan will make a significant contribution to the development of the regional economy.
