Juneyao will receive two new Airbus aircraft - one A320 and one A321 in early June and late July, which will be used to launch two nonstop services to Japan as: Shanghai-Fukuoka route opened on June 25 and Shanghai-Tokyo to be launched on August 6. Meanwhile, the airline's Shanghai-Osaka route would be added to thrice daily. The frequency of Shanghai-Okinawa would also be enhanced. In domestic market, the Shanghai-based carrier has opened many routes to Xi'an, Hanzhong, Yinchuan, Xining, Lanzhou, Zhongwei, Guyuan, Urumqi and Yinchuan, responding to the One Belt and One Road initiative. What's more, Juneyao Airlines has arranged more flights to domestic tourist cities, including Lijiang and Sanya.
