Jetstar is all set to resume its Singapore Changi to Okinawa, Japan route starting November 30. Once the service resumes, Jetstar will be the only airline to operate direct services between Singapore and Okinawa.

Jetstar has announced special one-way fares from Singapore to Okinawa, starting from just SG$159, as a part of the launch campaign.

Commenting on the resumption of the route Barathan Pasupathi, chief executive, Jetstar said: “Okinawa has always been an incredibly popular destination and we know our customers can’t wait for us to resume this service … Our amazing low-fares mean Singaporeans will be able to spend more while on holiday, taking advantage of everything the island has to offer and we thank the Okinawa Prefecture Government and Japan National Tourism Organization for their support of the new route.”

The airline further claims that the service is being brought back by popular demand, and it is expected to help increase tourism and economic exchange with Okinawa, the nearest part of Japan from Singapore.
