November traffic at JetBlue rose 11.7% compared to the same period in 2009. The airline’s passenger revenue per available seat mile rose 10% from a year ago.
The healthy traffic figures have been released a day after JetBlue issues a profit warning following weak ticket sales for the holiday season. Share of JetBlue Airways rebounded by 4 cents to $6.72 on news of the traffic figures, although they were still down from the start of the week.
JetBlue’s average November flights were 80.9% full, compared with 77.4% a year earlier.
