JetBlue launches new Florida route

JetBlue has launched its low fare flight between two Florida airports. The route launched on January 4 and will operate daily. The flight will connect south Florida’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) with the state capital’s Tallahassee International Airport (TLH).

“I hope this is only the beginning of connecting all parts of our state to Florida’s critical seat of government and the rest of the region through the heart of South Florida here at FLL,” said US representative Debbie Wasserman Shultz.

JetBlue head of government affairs, associate general counsel Robert Land added: “this new route further demonstrates our commitment to the Sunshine state and to providing low fares, great service and connectivity to customers in Fort Lauderdale, Tallahassee and beyond.”

The flight will operate using the airline's A320 aircraft.
