Jazeera Airways posts positive Oct traffic figures

Low-fare airline Jazeera Airways’ October 2013 Operational Performance Report shows that the airline led in on-time performance (OTP) against all other airlines in the Middle East during the month of October 2013, with a performance of 94.55%, as ranked by the independent US-based OTP tracker, FlightStats.

Jazeera Airways flew 5% more passengers in October compared to last year. The airline flew 47% more passengers on the Kuwait-Beirut route, and now accounts for a 40% market share on the route.

Jazeera Airways is also the leading airline serving the Kuwait-Amman route with a 41% market share, and a 38% increase in passengers during October compared to the same month last year. The airline flew 4% more passengers on the Kuwait-Dubai route, securing a 13% market share, while passenger traffic on the Kuwait-Bahrain route increased by 17%, accounting for a 12% market share.
