JAL has requested its cargo fuel surcharges to be revised. The airline currently pays an international cargo fuel surcharge of 122 yen per kg on long-haul international routes, 99 yen per kg on medium-haul international routes, and 78 yen on short-haul routes when adjusted to be based on the one-month average fuel price of Singapore kerosene.
