Cargo software providers WiseTech Global said on December 13 that IAG Cargo, the cargo wing of International Airlines Group (IAG), is "directly integrated" with its CargoWise logistics platform, a link-up it said would enable freight forwarders "to efficiently choose, book, confirm and change shipments, in real-time".
The deal gives CargoWise customers "direct access to schedules, dynamic rates, capacity and allotment bookings" over IAG's roughly 500 aircraft, WiseTech announced, and would further allow users "to easily change digital bookings without leaving the application".
