Holland & Knight promotes two senior asset finance associates to senior counsel

Holland & Knight has promoted two London-based asset finance associates, Joseph Snell and Michael Holt, to senior counsel, effective January 1, 2025.

Snell advises a range of clients, including aviation leasing companies, banks and airlines, on a range of cross-border asset-based financing, leasing and transactional matters, and works with clients and other lawyers throughout Europe, the US, Asia, and the Middle East. 

Holt focuses his practice on complex cross-border asset finance transactions representing financial institutions, arrangers, investors, leasing companies and operators, with a particular focus on aircraft.

“Their strong and extensive skillset is essential as we continue aligning our formidable practice group with the evolving needs of the aviation sector,” said leader of Holland & Knight's Asset Finance Group Phillip Durham.

Snell has experience advising several aviation lessors in their trading and portfolio management, as well as advising in the helicopter and engine leasing space. Holt has experience advising clients on the establishment of equity/debt funds, joint ventures, conventional debt, structured operating leases, asset portfolio trades, securitisations, repacks, restructurings, and debt trades.
