Flight attendants from Hawaiian Airlines have reached a tentative agreement on a contract extension until February 2028.
Flight attendants represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA) will benefit from ongoing pay increases and enhanced retirement plans. Additionally, Hawaiian flight attendants will join the profit-sharing program of the Alaska Air Group starting in 2025, with benefits being distributed from 2026.
“Hawaiian flight attendants deserve certainty and guaranteed improvements as we work towards our joint contract,” said Joni Kashiwai, AFA Hawaiian negotiations chair. “This extension provides these certain economic improvements while joint contract negotiations begin this month.”
The extension tentative agreement will be voted on by Hawaiian flight attendants, this vote will close on April 17, 2025.
Earlier this month, flight attendants from Alaska Airlines have voted to ratify a new three-year labour contract , which will provide an immediate wage increase of between 18.6% and 28.3% for up to 7,000 flight attendants.
