Frankfurt-based MRO service provider Haitec has selected spares firm A J Walter Aviation for a three-year contract to manage its component repair and overhaul requirements from January 2011.
Haitec, which specialises in line and selected base maintenance on A320 family and Boeing series aircraft, is taking advantage of the AJW streamlined vendor supply chain and its strong customers base.
Annually AJW spends over $100m on more than 25,000 individual repair orders. “This gives us considerable buying power which allows us to offer very competitive pricing, turn times and warranties” says MRO Director, Conrad Vandersluis. “We have worked hard to build this advantageous position within the aviation industry and our experienced team is now available to work directly for airlines, and MROs like Haitec, who are seeking to drive costs out of their business and improve their asset management. By utilising our significant modern Airbus and Boeing inventories AJW is able to underwrite this service with delivery guarantees, and offer complete commercial flexibility to suit all operational budgets.”
