Greater Bay Airlines has signed a distribution deal with Sabre. As a part of the deal, Greater Bay Airlines will have access to Sabre’s comprehensive network of travel agents, online travel agencies and corporations, allowing the airline to reach a wider audience and maximize its distribution potential.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Greater Bay Airlines to our growing network of airline customers,” said Rakesh Narayanan, vice president, regional general manager, airline sales, Sabre. “As they concentrate on expanding business operations, it’s essential that the carrier has access to a robust distribution platform to effectively reach global travellers. We now look forward to seeing more Greater Bay Airlines planes take to the skies, supported by Sabre technology.”
Greater Bay Airlines flew its inaugural flight to Bangkok last summer and has recently added a sixth destination to its network with the launch of a regular service between Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh (Saigon), Vietnam.
The airline also has ambitious plans to expand its fleet and route map.
“Having launched our scheduled services in July 2022, we’re now focusing on expanding our regional network from Hong Kong to destinations such as Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh, while providing our customers with best-in-class travel experiences,” said Gloria Slethaug, general manager, marketing and sales, Greater Bay Airlines. “So, it was vital to choose the right technology partner to enable us to enhance our distribution capabilities to travel agents, and their travellers, across the world, as we press ahead with our future expansion plans.”
