German Airways - KLM Cityhopper partnership continues

German Airways announced on May 12 that three months earlier it started a "second year of cooperation" with KLM Cityhopper.

The partnership followed the two companies' "cooperation in last year's summer timetable", the German airline said.

The partnership, which includes the wet lease of five aircraft "as a basis", is to run until winter 2023-24, though German Airways said in its May 12 statement that the two companies "intent to continue the cooperation beyond the coming winter".

"The past months have shown that both companies are satisfied with the cooperation. We bring a very reliable service and a highly motivated team. And we are very pleased to be able to support KLM Cityhopper as an integral part of the flight operations there. We both agree to continue the cooperation beyond the current contract," said Maren Wolters, managing director of German Airways.
