German Airways extended its lease agreements for its E190-100LR with US aircraft leasing company Azorra. The airline will also cooperate with Azorra on further fleet modernisation and work with the lessor on its activities to expand its European business ""We were Azorra's first customer in Europe, and our long collaboration is characterized by mutual support,"" said German Airways managing director Maren Wolters. ""Azorra understands our needs as a medium-sized airline precisely and is able to develop individual solutions for us and adapt together with us to changing market situations. This flexibility is not often found in the industry."" German Airways operates the E190 on wet lease for European airlines and also charters the aircraft.
