GDHF (GD Helicopter Finance) has expanded its Airbus H175 Super Medium order book, firming up ten H175 orders that were previously held as options.
This latest contractual commitment brings GDHF’s total firm H175 orders to 20 aircraft, with the first H175 delivered in December 2024.
“We are very pleased to firm up our ten H175 options, taking the GDHF total firm order book to twenty H175s,” said Michael York, CEO of GDHF. “This high-conviction decision reflects our observation of strong, sustained demand for modern, cost-efficient helicopters in the offshore energy sector - and the H175 in particular. GDHF is proud to offer near-term availability of the H175 to our customers.”
GDHF has also contracted significant enhancements to its H175 order book configuration, aimed at further optimising the performance and operational capability of the H175 in offshore and LIMSAR (Limited Search and Rescue) roles.
