Frontier to launch direct flights from Cleveland to San Francisco and San Diego

Frontier Airlines is set to launch direct flights from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) to both San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and San Diego International Airport (SAN). The thrice weekly flights to San Diego will resume from June 8 and four times weekly flights to San Francisco will commence by June 21.

Daniel Shurz, Senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines said: “Cleveland is an integral part of our operation. Our commitment to Cleveland is strong, and we’re excited to continue expanding at CLE. In doing so, Ohioans have more convenient and affordable options to visit some of the best vacation hotspots. San Diego and San Francisco are two of America’s most popular travel destinations. Now that summer has arrived, it is a perfect time to enjoy stunning California beaches and all these cities' excitement."

Frontier Airlines has become the only airline to operate the San Diego-Cleveland route. At present, the routes are seasonal for the North American summer, the airline will decide on expansion as demand rises.
