Flybe has issued a profit warning after announcing that revenue for the six months to September 30 was 1% below management’s expectations, although costs were in line with forecasts. A significant slowdown in sales across its domestic network, particularly in September contributed to the revenue shortfall.
Shares in the regional airline fell 36% when it announced its expectations for lower full-year profit due to reduced demand for UK domestic flights.
