Flair Airlines records strong June figures 89% load factor

Flair Airlines recorded a strong load factor of 89% as the total amount of passengers flown by the airline reached over 436,000 in June 2023.

Going ahead, the airline demonstrated strong numbers across the board in June with 99% completion factor. The airline also reported an on-time performance of 77.4% of all flights, with flights arriving at their destinations within 15 minutes of the scheduled time.

Commenting on the impressive metrics, Stephen Jones, chief executive, Flair Airlines said: “These impressive figures mean that we’re able to maximize our aircraft utilization, resulting in lower costs and a better travel experience for our passengers and their wallets. Not only does great on-time performance enhance the customer experience, but it also reduces the costs of cancelations and refunds, as well as the load on our Customer Service team. It also means better crew schedules and efficiency."

In April and May 2023, the airline reported a 74.1% and 82.1% load factor. The team announced in early June that it would be focusing on increasing its load factor by utilizing aircraft that were on time and affordable.

The airline is expected to take delivery of three more Boeing 737 MAX-8s by the end of the summer.
