SpiceJet to talk with foreign carriers

SpiceJet has stated that it is ready to enter into talks with foreign carriers to offer a stake for sale. Senior Vice-President, Commercial, V. Raja, hopes a deal with an international carrier will help the airline fund its expansion ambitions.

The carrier flies to 12 international destinations, while it has most recently opened a new international route to Bangkok.

SpiceJet has deployed some of the aircraft used for domestic operations to operate at nights on its international routes and has also reduced operations on unprofitable domestic routes.
