Fiji’s national airline Fiji Airways has a new codeshare agreement with low-cost carrier JetBlue, allowing Fiji Airways to extend its service to the East Coast, Utah and Florida.
“With JetBlue, we can welcome guests beyond the US given the airline’s 100 domestic and international network destinations,” explained Fiji Airways managing director and CEO Andre Viljoen. Highlighting that research that indicates “many Americans have a misconception that Fiji is too far away,” he added that the partnership has “made it even more convenient to reach our Fijian paradise”.
Americans can also connect to Australia, New Zealand, Asian and Pacific Island countries using Fiji airlines, which operates five daily flights between Nadi and Los Angeles, as well as up to five services a week between Nadi and San Francisco.
