In a television interview, Ed Winter, chairman and chief executive of fastjet, has indicated that the airline is approaching potential South African investors to buy stakes in the airline to finance a route expansion in the east and south of Africa.
“We are an African company, even though we are listed in London,” Winter said. “It makes a lot of sense to have South African shareholders.”
