Evolito has appointed Marc Holme as the company’s new chief technology officer, where he will be instrumental in ‘bolstering the company’s growth trajectory in the electric aviation industry’.
Holme brings 24 years of aviation experience to the role, including as the senior director of engineering at Collins Aerospace. “The advanced electric motor technology that originated for the automotive market is being adapted and improved by Evolito to enable aerospace applications where weight, efficiency, and safety are critical,” he highlighted. “Combined with its leading motor control electronics and battery technologies, Evolito is well-positioned to reach scalable and sustainable electric aviation”.
Evolito received design organisation approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority for electric propulsion system products in December 2023 and is currently working with a number of OEM partners across the eVTOL, urban air mobility and fixed-wing fields.
