IBA welcomes new commercial director Adil Slimani

IBA (International Bureau of Aviation) has appointed new Commercial Director Adil Slimani. Adil joins the team this month, where his role will be to develop the airline customer base and revenue streams, utilising his deep knowledge of operational support requirements on a global basis, and supporting the Company’s current growth strategy.

Adil began his career at AJW Aviation, progressing from Account Manager to AOG Team Leader, leading a team servicing over 400 aircraft under cost-per-flight-hour contracts, Ad Hoc sales customers and holding site responsibility for their UK headquarters. Whilst at AJW, Adil also gained experience in change management, LEAN processing and all aspects of Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) operations. Adil went on to join Casco Ltd in 2014, firstly as Sales Manager before becoming Business Development and Asset Manager, where he was responsible for new product line support, inventory management, aircraft acquisition, appraisals, part-out management, sales operations support, marketing and commercial operations.

Adil will report to Owen Geach, Chief Commercial Officer. ”After a thorough recruitment drive I am delighted that Adil is joining IBA where his extensive industry knowledge and contacts will spearhead the development of our specialised services for airline clients,” said Geach.
