Eve Air Mobility's final eVTOL airworthiness criteria published by Brazilian aviation authority

The National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC) has published the final version of the airworthiness criteria for Embraer's electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft developer Eve Air Mobility.

Eve said this is a “significant milestone” in the certification process for its eVTOL aircraft.

“The feedback received during the public consultation phase was invaluable in refining these criteria," said Eve chief technology officer Luiz Valentini. "We are now looking forward to continue working closely with ANAC on type certification and the FAA on the simultaneous validation of the ANAC type certification."

Eve formalised the process for obtaining a type certification for its eVTOL with ANAC in February 2022.
